Solutions design analyst
about the job:
the solutions design analyst will be responsible for performing cost saving analysis for various customers affiliated with the protrans international network. Utilizing various technological tools and our proprietary software, you will be developing pricing models that can be used to impact both business and supply chain operations. You will analyze and process historic data to produce accurate cost saving plans that can better support our customers and their logístical needs. Moreover, you will work concentrically with supply chain managers to input updated shipping changes and transactions into our tms to provide accurate and consistent data
what you'll be doing:
in this role you will perform functions including:
- fosters business-to-customer relationships by facilitating presentations covering business reviews and kaizen activity.
- identify and propose cost savings initiatives to various customers and pertinent team members.
- work collaboratively with supply chain managers to continuously execute successful cost savings projects.
- create and distribute customized logístical reports satisfying unique customer requirements.
- create customer-specific pricing models and work with various teams to implement new business pricing strategies.
- analyze account profitability by consistent review of account performance and invoices.
- analyze the impact of potential network changes with our customers and facilitate strategic decision-making.
- analyze cost from operations systems and identify opportunities for increased margins.
- analyze the impact of pricing increases and/or adjustments from transportation suppliers.
what we're looking for:
- bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience in a related field and/or study.
- 1+ years of experience pricing and analyzing modes of transportation and freight.
- *proven work or project experience working with data in microsoft excel.*:
- proven experience working and pricing various modes of transportation.
- experience in the field of logistics, preferably in the 3pl space.
