role and responsibilities
* perform cognitive and data analytics to provide data analysis and forecasts for business, supply, and demand requirements supporting supply chain and revenue targets.
* accountable for the worldwide demand plan and strategy that support ibm’s revenue objectives for our products.
* analyze product inventory, historical shipments, weekly and daily load tracks, and other key customer consumption indicators to ensure demand volume accuracy.
* apply comprehensive supply‑chain process knowledge, product knowledge, and statistical analytics to determine optimum production volumes.
* plan new product introductions in collaboration with product management and engineering teams.
* drive continuous improvement and innovation.
* conduct detailed analysis with large amounts of data using data science methodology to predict future shipment volumes behavior.
preferred education
bachelor’s degree
required technical and professional expertise
* +4 years of experience in supply chain roles.
* university degree required (e.g., bachelor’s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. Engineering preferred.
* proven hands‑on experience with kinaxis maestro (formerly kinaxis rapidresponse), demonstrated through direct ownership or significant contribution to planning, analytics, or solution development within the platform.
* strong teamwork ability, able to work in a fast‑paced environment with the capacity to handle multiple competing tasks and demands; willing to lead teams.
* strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
* advanced proficiency in excel.
* advanced proficiency in english.
* strong interpersonal collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
