About our client:
A nationally recognized independent wealth advisory firm managing over $12 billion in client assets is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join its accounting team.
The firm provides high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions with customized financial planning and investment management solutions. As one of the fastest-growing hybrid RIA platforms in the country, it is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and process accounts payable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Manage daily accounting operations, including expense allocations, credit card reconciliations, and invoice resolution.
- Prepare and post recurring journal entries for rent, depreciation, prepaids, accruals, and employee loans.
- Perform recurring monthly close reconciliations (MEC) to support timely financial reporting.
- Generate and manage client invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and support collections.
- Maintain accurate vendor records, including W9 compliance, payment terms, and duplicate clean‑up.
- Assist with employee reimbursements and evaluate vendor payment methods (ACH, wire, corporate card, etc.).
- Support special projects such as credit card liability clean‑up, AP automation, CRM payouts, and revenue reporting enhancements.
- Contribute to process improvements and assist with accounting system or AP tool migrations.
- Partner with Finance leadership on ad‑hoc projects and reporting initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or financial services industry
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
