*the role*:
the convenience retail performance and delivery manager is responsible for collecting, evaluating, and analyzing various data sources which deliver business insights and category insights.
trough the data, it is also responsible for tracking the performance of the categories in the convenience store aligned with the vision and strategy.
it will run and share competitive analysis, forecasting, reporting, and making recommendations on how the sales, marketing and other teams should move forward. In addition to that it will provide planogram recommendations.
coordinate with convenience retail, marketing and operations teams on how to run successful campaigns and work with them to make inventory run smoothly.
it will also upholding the relationship with global and local partners to complement convenience retail strategy, in support of the achievement of business sales and profitability targets.
in the shell context, the local performance and delivery manager are supported by professionally formed local and global cr team. This set up allows synergies of global strategy and local business impact, transference of best practices and the unique perspective gained from the combination of global strategy with close to market operational exposure.
1. Develop projections and forecasts
2. Communication: communicate with company leadership, regularly.
lead team meetings to explain new sales trends or strategies.
illustrate and communicate strategic recommendations within internal and external facing customer presentations.
3. Develop different reports: condensing complex or technical information into a palatable and easy-to-understand presentation for cr team and company leadership.
4. Guide marketing and supply chain efforts
5. Assist in maintaining the quality and integrity of the data
6. Identify kpi's and set goals per category
7. Define growth opportunities country/category/brand
8. Tracks business results and recommend country-specific solutions to address category deviation from operating plan
