the ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing the full saas sales cycle, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
this role requires a professional with a background ideally in
sales & distribution
or at least in
marketing, trade marketing, or supply chain
within the cpg industry.
the sales executive will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing partnerships, and driving strategic initiatives to expand market reach and revenue growth.
responsibilities
1. Business development:
actively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with key cpg clients to meet and exceed sales targets.
focus on "hunting" new clients and markets, expanding the company's footprint in the assigned territory.
drive business development initiatives by establishing new channels and strategic partnerships to fuel growth.
2. Partner management:
oversee and nurture relationships with existing partners, ensuring mutual success and alignment with ivy's strategic goals.
3. Revenue generation:
implement initiatives that contribute directly to revenue growth and identify new avenues to expand ivy's market impact.
collaborate with internal business development, consulting, and pre-sales teams to maximize revenue from both existing customers and new prospects.
4. Strategic planning & market analysis:
execute a comprehensive sales and partnership strategy to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
conduct continuous assessments of the competitive landscape and market trends to identify new growth opportunities and areas for innovation.
effectively manage complex saas sales cycles, including prospecting, presenting to c-suite executives, and negotiating terms.
build a strategy that delivers consistent quarterly achievements across the entire account base.
leverage crm tools to track sales cycle activities in accordance with ivy's sales process and methodology.
5. Cross-functional collaboration:
work closely with product, marketing, and presales teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and partnership strategies.
collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive successful deal closures and maintain alignment throughout the sales cycle.
6. Performance metrics & reporting:
establish and track key performance indicators (kpis) to measure the success of partnerships, business development, and revenue initiatives.
deliver consistent and accurate revenue forecasting to senior leadership.
required skills & experience
bachelor's degree in it, business, marketing, or a related field.
10-15 years
of experience in
saas sales
with a proven track record of managing complex sales cycles.
experience working in the
cpg industry
in
sales & distribution (ideally)
,
marketing, trade marketing, or supply chain
roles.
strong background in
partner management
and
go-to-market strategies
.
proficiency with crm tools and experience with revenue forecasting and sales reporting.
strong leadership and relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
ability to engage and influence c-suite executives during sales cycle.
effective verbal and written communication skills in spanish and english.
ability to travel up to
50%
as required by the role.
