Head of supply chain management (manager)
the mission of this position is to lead, plan, coordinate, implement, and control all supply chain activities to meet budget and targets such as maximizing delivery performance, reducing costs, and inventories. The role also involves representing the plant operations unit in scm topics with internal and external contacts. The head of supply chain management initiates, manages, and implements continuous improvement plans for all supply chain processes.
responsibilities include:
1. leading all supply chain activities and processes for the plant operations unit.
2. defining and translating the plant supply chain strategy into actionable plans aligned with the plant, bu scm, and group strategies.
3. setting and ensuring the implementation of plant-specific scm standards and requirements.
4. monitoring and implementing bu and ct policies, procedures, and standards for scm.
5. driving scm optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, and costs.
6. participating in strategic, budget, and operational planning, including investments, inventory, costs, capacity, and staffing.
7. establishing scm targets and ensuring their achievement, considering customer expectations.
8. leading continuous improvement activities using cbs methods and training.
9. managing investments in supply chain equipment.
10. engaging with segment, bu, or ba functions to gather requirements and feedback.
11. representing the plant in scm-related discussions and projects.
12. participating in environmental, health, safety activities, and supplier evaluations.
13. leading change management and ensuring compliance within scm.
14. conducting employee dialogues, development, and coaching.
supply chain and logistics planning:
develop and implement logistics concepts, manage internal material handling, inventory, warehouse operations, and external logistics partnerships, including delivery, freight, customs, and packaging.
performance monitoring:
monitor and report on kpis related to costs, delivery, schedule adherence, lead times, and capacity. Identify and implement process improvements and monitor supplier performance.
your profile
* bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or related fields.
* minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics functions, with cross-functional experience preferred.
* at least 3 years in a leadership role with responsibility for others.
* experience working with international teams and understanding of foreign cultures.
* fluent in english (interviews will be conducted in english).
