Reporting to the senior brand and marketing manager for fenty beauty & fenty skin, the associate marketing manager will be responsible for leading and executing the digital, social media, and influencer marketing strategies for fenty beauty and fenty skin in mexico.
this role is key to driving brand awareness, desirability, and advocacy by creating culturally relevant digital campaigns and leveraging the local influencer ecosystem. The position requires a strong balance of creativity and business acumen to connect content, community, and commerce. A cross-category mindset is essential to build consistent storytelling across makeup and skincare, reinforcing overall brand equity.
1. Digital & social strategy
develop and execute a 360° digital and social media strategy, tailored to the mexican market, across owned and partner channels.
tropicalize global campaigns to ensure cultural relevance and maximize local impact.
track and report on kpis (engagement, reach, sov, conversion), optimizing for roi and learnings.
ensure all content reinforces brand desirability and strengthens long-term advocacy.
implement paid content campaigns across meta and tiktok to drive reach, engagement, and conversion.
2. Influencer marketing
lead year-round influencer campaigns to ensure consistent brand visibility, engagement, and conversion.
manage and brief local influencer agencies; oversee pr send-outs and seeding strategies.
curate and grow relationships with mexico's top influencers, creators, and trendsetters across beauty, lifestyle, and gen z/gen alpha segments.
localize and amplify global influencer content while generating locally relevant collaborations and ugc.
approve influencer materials ensuring alignment with brand tone, identity, and guidelines.
3. Content creation & sephora collaboration
build and share monthly content grids with sephora mexico, ensuring alignment on priorities and maximizing visibility.
work closely with sephora teams to negotiate best digital spaces and implement co-branded campaigns.
leverage fenty's brand presence on, ensuring best-in-class content, optimal product visibility, and maximized conversion.
collaborate on sephora-led initiatives, aligning messaging and co-investment opportunities.
4. Cross-functional collaboration
partner with internal brand, digital, sales, and education teams to deliver integrated 360° campaigns.
collaborate with external partners and agencies to execute innovative digital and influencer strategies.
apply a cross-category lens to storytelling, pairing makeup and skincare to reinforce brand impact.
qualification
bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, or digital brand communications — ideally within beauty, fashion, or luxury industries.
proven experience collaborating with retailers (sephora a strong plus).
bilingual: fluent in spanish and english.
deep knowledge of mexico's digital, influencer, and social media landscape (instagram, tiktok, youtube, ).
strong understanding of paid media strategies (meta & tiktok).
excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to connect with local creators and retail partners.
creative, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills.
