key responsibilities include:
* designing and implementing cutting-edge personalization solutions using graph neural networks, causal models, and bandit algorithms.
* defining architecture patterns and design standards for ml infrastructure.
* leading cross-functional initiatives to redefine how personalization impacts business outcomes.
* mentoring senior engineers and guiding complex decision-making.
* representing the organization's technical brand externally through speaking engagements and open-source contributions.
requirements
to succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale machine learning systems with a focus on personalization.
* deep expertise in building ml systems with large-scale personalization capabilities.
* proven success in architecting ml platforms serving billions of predictions in production.
* demonstrated track record of 0→1 innovation in personalization or recommender systems.
* mastery across multiple ml domains including deep learning, causal inference, multi-armed bandits, and graph-based models.
