plan, organize and direct all the activities of the quality engineering department, including support to manufacturing processes to ensure product conformance to specifications, adherence to procedures, and identification of risks of deviations that generate defects and/or scrap, specifically in the areas of manual assembly, testing, inspection, packaging, flow and handling of materials, machining, casting, winding and others; so that product specifications, process controls and customer satisfaction are fully met. - coordinate and guide the qa engineers team. - manage and update the process capability indices matrix (cpks). - direct the efforts and continuous improvement projects for the kpis of the quality department. - manage control plans for critical equipment and machinery for the business. - development and implementation of leading indicators (leading indicators) to predict the level of product quality. - development and implementation of training plans and certifications required for quality engineers and technicians. - ensure the use of personal protection equipment and knowledge of basic safety aspects for quality engineers and technicians. - design and execution of process audits for critical controls such as error-proof devices (poka yoke), calibrations, operator certifications, perishable materials, etc. - design and implementation of standard work methodologies in all quality areas under his responsibility. - work with your counterpart in equipment engineering and manufacturing in the design of efficient production processes. - deployment of the zero-defect philosophy in the production lines. - identification and reduction of waste in operational areas.
