team overview and job responsibilities
we are looking for a raw material buyer to join our material team. Based in nogales-méxico, the candidate will have the responsibility and authority to carry out all activities related to quality and the ems must comply with iatf 16949:2016 and iso-45001/iso-14000 standards.
responsibilities
* review m.r.p. reports
* provide and confirm orders to suppliers weekly, either via edi or manually through email
* manage the shortage material report, analyzing causes, and taking corrective actions (a3)
* expedite materials as needed, identifying critical situations and escalating requirements when necessary
* support in managing slow-moving parts, excesses, and obsolete materials
* assist and/or schedule meetings with suppliers for critical material follow-up and escalations
* support in monthly and annual inventories
* responsible for following the elements of iatf 16949:2016, iso-14000, and iso 45001 applicable to the process
* maintain optimal inventory levels
