*regional manager, international foodservice - latam - commercial*
- latin america, commercial. This position will be reporting to the us based senior director of sales, international foodservice and global hospitality. The position will be in mexico city and will work from a corporate office.
*basic responsibilities of the position include*:
- lead the development and execution of growth strategies for commercial foodservice & hospitality in-room appliance sales throughout latin america.
- engage and motivate foodservice and hospitality offline distribution channels to drive sales
- manage, coach and evaluate independent reps
- lead the development of online selling platforms.
- manage a budget of promotional funds and sg&a expenses.
- leverage supply chain advantages in pursuit of national accounts, particularly within mexico.
*requirements of the position include*:
- a bachelor’s degree in marketing or business; mba preferred
- at least 10 years sales experience selling in commercial b2b channels throughout latin america, preferably with foodservice equipment experience.
- experience managing direct sales personnel or independent reps.
- high level of experience developing customer channels and cultivating major account relationships
- proven track record of success demonstrating strategic thinking, strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and presentation skills
- strong computer literacy, including solid-to-intermediate skills in ms office. Crm experience a plus.
- must be bi-lingual (english/spanish). Portuguese a plus.
- ability to work from a corporate office in mexico city with a willingness to travel up to 25% throughout latin america.
