responsibilities
analyze and record all financial and accounting operations of the argentina beverage country by each end month close based on the pepsico policies and procedures established for submission and perform in a timely manner the financial report for the corporation.
* responsible for bank reconciliation (all open items should be investigated and reconciled).
* perform coding of invoice cost for ssc ap record.
* responsible for inventories accounting and determine the average cost of products sold.
* monitor sales invoices transactions and accurate accounting records.
* monitor inter‑company transactions and assure inter‑company confirmation balances at month‑end with related parties.
* record provisions such as mip bonus, share profit, and other accruals.
* calculate income tax in accordance with ecuadorian fiscal law (except year‑end which is done by pwc & kpmg).
* prepare monthly financial statement (balance sheet, p&l, and financial attached reconciliations) for review and approvals of the controller & planning team.
* consolidate monthly financial statement package (balance sheet, p&l and account balance supporting documentation) to submit in hfm.
* monthly calculation of pii (profit in inventory) and dp (deliver profit) for upload in hfm.
* quarterly preparation of the bsr analysis to send to the ecuador controller.
* coordinate, prepare and present all information and reports for internal/external audit purposes in accordance with specific auditor requirements.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in accounting is mandatory.
* understand the whole process, including taxes and regulatory aspects to collaborate with the finance controller, franchises and innovation projects.
* minimum of 2‑3 years experience in general accounting roles or similar positions.
* english level of 60% reading, writing, conversational desirable.
* previous systems experience working with oracle, sap, sun, or hfm highly desirable.
* proficient in microsoft office, especially excel (pivot tables, data analysis, macros).
* highly organized, methodical, and detail‑oriented.
* proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
* ability to work under pressure and in stressful environments to adhere to strict deadlines.
* interpersonal and communication skills required; ability to interact with employees of all levels, including upper management, across mexico and internationally.
* understanding of g&a administration for food business model desirable.
