role overview
as a business analyst - integrations, you will play a critical role in delivering seamless data integrations between our platform and customer systems (e.g., erps, plms, compliance tools) using an ipaas solution. You'll collaborate with internal implementation teams, integration engineers, and customer stakeholders to gather requirements, define data flows, and support testing and go-live processes.
key responsibilities
1. collaborate with implementation consultants and customers (both business and it users) to gather and document integration requirements
2. define integration use cases, data mappings, transformation rules, and system endpoints
3. translate requirements into technical specifications
4. configure and support integration workflows in the ipaas tool (e.g., boomi, workato, mulesoft, etc.)
5. assist with testing, validation, troubleshooting, and deployment of integration solutions
6. monitor integration performance and assist with issue resolution during hypercare and post-go-live support
7. maintain documentation and knowledge base for repeatable integrations
8. continuously identify opportunities to standardize and templatize integration approaches
9. work closely with product & engineering to provide feedback on integration templates, help validate integration use cases and provide inputs to improve the integration platform and services.
10. be the go-to expert on the specright api and support client developers on api use and best practices
11. identify key success metrics for the api adoption and use and collaborate with the integrations product manager on tracking and reporting of these metrics
12. creation and evaluation of test plans for client uat and assisting in testing
13. proactively engage with customer it teams to ensure project success
14. actively work on improving project processes for integrations, with a focus on optimizing timelines, avoiding scope creep and easing information sharing via documentation
15. track integration project metrics and issues
16. configure saml sso for customers
17. manage multiple integration development projects at a time effectively
18. assist in the ongoing support and maintenance for live customer integrations
qualifications
19. 3+ years of experience in a technical business analyst, technical consultant or implementation analyst role, preferably in saas or enterprise software
20. strong understanding of system integrations, apis, data formats (json, xml, csv), and workflows
21. experience with using postman
22. experience with ipaas tools (e.g., boomi, workato,, mulesoft, jitterbit, etc.) is highly preferred
23. knowledge of the platform (salesforce) is a plus
24. excellent written and verbal english communication skills
25. strong documentation, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills
26. ability to work independently and flexibly in a remote, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment
27. enjoy getting in front of clients to understand their challenges and be able to design solutions and features to address their needs
28. experience with, and a solid understanding of system to system integrations & api fundamentals
29. experience with api integrations and file-based integrations and middleware
30. be well versed in creating compelling technical documentation and diligent in creating and maintaining detailed requirements documentation for each customer engagement
31. familiarity with saml sso fundamentals and setup
32. execution experience to juggle multiple projects at once

33. familiarity with erp systems (sap, netsuite, oracle, etc.)
34. experience supporting offshore/onshore implementation delivery models
35. certifications in business analysis or integration platforms
36. experience with the salesforce platform
