With over 70 years of experience, ippf operates in 150 countries worldwide, including 29 across latin america and the caribbean. The americas and caribbean regional office (acro) has two main offices located in mexico and trinidad & tobago, and is supported by a dedicated team of 20 professionals. What’s the purpose of this role? You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant operation of our regional office, providing administrative and hr support across a wide range of functions. From recruitment and onboarding to office organization and legal compliance, you’ll help build and sustain a safe, effective, and values-aligned work environment. ️ What will you do day-to-day? Coordinate and implement administrative processes (file management, office materials, space organization). Ensure new team members receive a structured and meaningful onboarding. Lead recruitment, hiring, and offboarding processes in line with organizational frameworks. Support mobility for expatriate staff, ensuring compliance with tax and consular requirements. Act as the safeguarding focal point, contributing to a safe work environment. Liaise with the global people, organization & culture team to implement inclusive hr practices. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in hr systems and databases. Manage documentation with government ministries and foreign missions when required. Conduct research on labor law, cost of living, and salary benchmarking to support hr planning. What we’re looking for degree in business administration, human resources, occupational psychology, labor law, or related fields. At least 4 years of experience in similar roles with a focus on payroll, contracts, and hr compliance. Strong digital skills and experience managing hr systems. Experience working in diverse, multicultural, multilingual environments. Fluency in both spanish and english (written and spoken). Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
