this role leads all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations and standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker passionate about empowering teams, driving results, and delivering value to stakeholders.
as director of finance, you will work in partnership with the general manager, owners, and corporate finance teams to oversee the entire accounting function of our property. You will support the senior team with month‑end close, preparation of financial reports and statistics for decision making, and management of permits, insurance, licenses, and contracts to ensure compliance.
what we're looking for
* position is based on-property in mexico city
* bachelor’s degree or diploma in finance or hospitality/tourism management
* minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a finance manager or director of finance in a similar lifestyle hotel or a large 4- or 5‑star hotel in mexico
* exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills
* strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
* fluency in english and spanish is a must
* exceptional written and numerical skills and proficiency with accounting and payroll software
* advanced excel skills
