detailed description of the project
project objective
the objective of this project is to design, standardize, and enable a single, centralized payroll input channel that consolidates all payroll-related inputs across locations, business units, and stakeholders.

1. understanding complex, multi‑country payroll processes
2. managing multiple payroll input sources (emails, spreadsheets, forms, systems)
3. dealing with inconsistent data formats and validation rules
4. aligning global standards with local payroll requirements
5. coordinating with multiple stakeholders (hr, payroll, it, shared services)
6. ensuring data quality while working under strict timelines and deadlines
main responsibilities and activities
7. document current‑state (“as‑is”) payroll input processes
8. identify all payroll input types (e.g., hires, terminations, changes, time, bonuses, deductions)
9. map stakeholders involved in input creation, validation, and approval
10. define standardized payroll input categories and naming conventions
11. establish common data fields and mandatory validation rules
12. support the definition of global vs. local payroll inputs
13. support requirements gathering for workflow, approvals, and tracking
14. create clear process documentation and flow diagrams
15. participate in testing of the centralized input process
