Your tasks
as a global operations controller, you will:
- perform global sales controlling activities for actual, forecast and budget, with a focus on variance analysis.
- track and analyze customer price changes and lump sum productivity payments, lead the lift topic for am americas.
- drive global contribution margin analysis and improvement.
- analyze and optimize global a/r, inventory, price & warranty liabilities
- ensure timely payment of invoices due, quick resolution of overdue accounts receivable, and customer deduction analysis for north america.
- analyze global month end closing results, and prepare reporting package, including explanations of variances to budget, forecast and last forecast.
- support all financial topics required to support business decisions, including preparation of supplier and customer claims.
- provide supporting documents for external and internal audits.
- be the key user for esr signature authorizations for market americas.
- participate in special projects as needed.
- provide financial support to management including preparation of data, charts and presentations for internal meetings.
- be a pro-active business partner for internal stakeholders in various functions, locations and countries.
*profile*:
as a successful global operations controller, you have:
- a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or administration
- 5+ of experience in financial analysis
- required proficiency in excel and sap.
power bi experiences are not mandatory, but preferred.
- a high level of initiative, assertiveness, ability to challenge existing paradigms, and intercultural competencies.
- you are analytical, detailed oriented, are are comfortable analyzing data with an aim to generate information.
- strong communication skills, also in english language (advanced level).
