-job description*role purpose*
the credit risk strategy implementation manager is responsible of lead the technical implementation of credit risk strategies, ensuring accurate parameterization, coding, and deployment within decision systems, rule engines, and operational workflows. This role guarantees efficient execution aligned with risk policies, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
*main activities*
- technical implementation of credit strategies:
- translate risk policies and models into automated decision rules configured within credit decision engines (e.g., powercurve and sas)
- develop, code, and adjust rules, scorecards, credit limits, origination workflows, and pre
- approval or segmentation strategies within the relevant systems.
- conduct unit testing, integration testing, and validation of strategies in development and pre-production environments
- deployment and monitoring of strategies:
- translate risk policies and models into automated decision rules configured within credit decision engines (e.g., powercurve and sas)
- develop, code, and adjust rules, scorecards, credit limits, origination workflows, and pre
- approval or segmentation strategies within the relevant systems.
- conduct unit testing, integration testing, and validation of strategies in development and pre-production environments.
- collaboration with risk, risk cra, it and business teams:
- work cross
- functionally with modeling, polcicy, risk, it, risk cra, and business areas to ensure that technical strategies meet risk and business objectives.
- translate functional requirements into efficient technical solutions, ensuring timely responses to business needs.
- process and system optimization:
- identify opportunities to improve the effiency of credit origination and evaluation processes through automation or adjustments withing decisions engines.
- propose and implemented strategies comply with applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g. Cnbv)
- maintain detailed documentation of strategies, decision rules, workflows, and changes, ensuring traceabilty for internal and external audits.
requirements- bachelor's degree in systems engineering, information technology, finance, economic, or related field.
- experience in credit credit risk strategy implementation, which technical expertise in decision engines (e.g., powercurve and sas)
- knowlegde of programming or scripting for decision engines (e.g., sas or other rule parameterization languages)
- experience in credit origination credit evaluation, and portfolio management
- knowlegde of applicable regulatory frameworks
- project management skills, data analysis capabilities, technical problem
- solving, and effective communication.
