we are looking for a
backend python qe automation engineer
with 3 or more years of experience to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and tools for backend services and apis. The ideal candidate has a strong background in backend testing, python programming, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (ci/cd) environments. You should be able to troubleshoot failures and collaborate across teams for root cause analysis, and contribute to performance, integration, and regression testing efforts
required skills:
* 3+ years of experience in test automation, specifically for backend systems or apis.
* strong programming skills in
python
(pytest, unittest, or similar frameworks)
* solid understanding of
restful apis, http
, and backend architecture.
* knowledge of
sql
and database testing (e.g., postgresql, mysql, or mongodb).
* comfortable using tools like
postman, swagger, or curl
for api testing.
* experience with
ci/cd tools
like jenkins, github actions, gitlab ci, or similar.
* experience in working with
cloud
platforms (aws, gcp)
* knowledge of
monitoring/logging tools
like prometheus, grafana, elk stack, or similar.
