BrandNation is a fast-growing marketing and production agency with offices in Houston and Mexico City (Condessa). We partner with ambitious brands to tell powerful stories, build communities, and drive results across digital platforms. We are looking for a highly experienced, English-fluent Social Media Manager to join our Mexico City team and serve as the bridge between strategy and creative execution.
Role Overview
As the Social Media Manager, you will:
- Collaborate directly with the Creative Strategist to plan and execute social media campaigns that align with client brand strategy.
- Lead the social media planning process, ensuring calendars, captions, and post formats are organized and timely.
- Work closely with the design and video production teams to develop engaging content tailored to each platform.
- Ensure all social media content aligns with the agreed strategy, tone, and brand guidelines.
- Analyze performance metrics and recommend optimizations to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Stay up-to-date with platform trends, algorithm changes, and cultural shifts (U.S. and Latin America).
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day management of social media accounts for assigned clients.
- Develop and maintain monthly social media calendars in coordination with strategy and account teams.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and copywriters to produce high-quality content.
- Review, edit, and approve English-language copy for accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance.
- Monitor analytics and prepare monthly reports with actionable insights.
- Ensure flawless execution — posts must go out accurately, on time, and optimized.
- Participate in client calls as needed to present ideas and campaign results.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in social media management (agency experience strongly preferred).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) — must be able to write captions, present reports, and communicate with U.S. clients.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Twitter).
- Experience using social media scheduling/management tools (e.g., Loomly, Sprout, Hootsuite).
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret analytics and recommend improvements.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and storytelling.
- Ability to lead, communicate effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally.
