about the role
we are looking for an accounting controls analyst – supply chain. The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented finance professional with early‑career experience in accounting and cost control, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work cross‑functionally in a dynamic manufacturing and supply chain environment.
responsibilities
* support month‑end close activities related to inventory, cost of goods sold (cogs), and distribution costs.
* reconcile inventory movements, adjustments, and balances across manufacturing plants, co‑packers, and distribution centers.
* analyze cost behavior, variances, and operational trends to identify risks, opportunities for improvement, and cost optimization.
* monitor inventory controls, cycle counts, and sample counts in line with company policies.
* reconcile production, shipments, and receipts between external partner systems and company systems.
* collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including supply chain, operations, and external manufacturing and logistics partners.
* assist with internal control activities, including compliance with accounting policies and sox‑related controls.
* support continuous improvement initiatives in processes, systems, and reporting.
requirements | mandatory qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field (accounting & finance preferred).
* 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles; exposure to manufacturing or cost accounting is highly desirable.
* strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* solid excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
* comfortable working with multiple systems; erp experience (sap preferred).
* strong communication skills to interact with internal teams and external partners.
* bilingual proficiency: english required.
