about the role
this position directly supervises technical / business support and/or production / maintenance employees in industrial engineering. Plans and sets day-to-day operational objectives and participates in the documentation of operations and procedures to ensure timely completion. Responsible for making minor changes in processes to improve industrial engineering effectiveness.
* maximize the utilization of human resources on production lines.
* standardize work processes across production lines.
* improve hourly production rates on production lines.
key responsibilities
* analysis of production line capacity.
* cost optimization and management of productivity projects.
* optimization of human resources on production lines.
* creation and maintenance of work standards.
requirements
* 3 years of experience in industrial engineering.
* degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
* advanced english proficiency.
* proficiency in autocad (including layouts and process flow).
* experience in lean manufacturing (standardized work, smed, vsm, line balancing).
* knowledge and experience with problem-solving tools (a3, 5 whys, 8d, ishikawa, red x).
* green belt certification, with experience in implementing a real project.
* experience in resource capacity analysis.
* knowledge of six sigma.
* microsoft office.
* availability for full-time work.
* master's degree (desirable).
