overview:
working as full-time mexico accounting analyst, you will enjoy the opportunity of leading and performing a variety of accounting duties.
responsibilities:
the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- processing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting period close activities, including general ledger reconciliations, account analysis, and statutory reporting
- analyzing accounting processes focused on enhancements and efficiencies for various accounting systems and procedures
- designing and managing projects to ensure compliance, enhance, and improve the financial accounting needs of the company
- measuring, monitoring, coordinating, and communicating status updates on various accounting projects and goals
- setting strategic goals including developing, training, and motivating others to optimize business results
- performing special projects, analysis, and other administrative tasks as necessary
required position qualifications:
the following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
- possess or are working towards a bachelor's degree in an accounting or have relevant work experience
- proficient using microsoft office suite
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
- demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
- demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
- exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
- willingness to manage results driven projects
- learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- work independently as well as in a team environment

- ability to speak fluent spanish and english

- proficient using peoplesoft
