Role summary
the hybrid integration platform (hip) specialist role leads activities related to middleware planning, design, and development. The specialist develops and maintains knowledge of middleware concepts, architectures, and software. Responsibilities include evaluating potential solutions, installing and commissioning selected products, automating manual activities to provide self‑service solutions for developers, maintaining hsbc security standards, interacting with vendors and the global engineering team, and providing troubleshooting in production support.
principal accountabilities
* proven experience with ibm websphere mq over mainframe.
* knowledge of z/os basis components (tso, jcl, jes2, cics, and db2).
* design and implement new middleware architectures and business projects.

* strong technical skills to solve complex problems with the products.
* effective teamwork, communication, and coordination with multiple teams in mexico and globally.
* ability to work under pressure to meet business requirements and deadlines.
