Job description
* support early supplier selection based on maturity evaluation level.
* release and approve suppliers following vda 6.3 process audit standards.
* perform and monitor apqp elements at suppliers to ensure compliance with specifications (drawing & standard) and meet project milestones.
* authorize the first production run at suppliers, including assessments.
* ensure the release of prototypes, tooling, equipment (gages, fixtures), and isir customer approvals (e.g., process capability studies) by supervising adherence to quality plan requirements.
* conduct p-fmea assessments for new components at suppliers.
* review supplier components periodically.
* manage supplier complaints, including monitoring 8d reports.
* authorize sample reports and part submission reports for purchased parts in ppap or similar standards.
* develop a safe launch concept for new components and monitor slc reports.
* track supplier 8d reports, applying structured problem-solving, and evaluate supplier performance.

qualifications
* bachelor's degree in mechanical, electronic, or chemical engineering.
* proficiency in english.
* minimum of 5 years of professional experience in quality and manufacturing.
* at least 2 years of experience in iron and aluminum casting technologies.
* experience in the automotive sector for about 2 years, with a good understanding of automotive environments.
* knowledge of automotive standards including iatf 16949 and vda 6.3 is desirable.
* familiarity with automotive quality methods (apqp, ppap, msa, spc, 8d).
* experience working with international teams on quality issues.
* strong knowledge of structured problem-solving methods such as a3, 8d, ishikawa, 5why, and fta.
