Your tasks
* manage data integrity and preparation of financial information to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness and accessibility.
* complete month end, quarter end and the year end close processes based on timelines set
* provide support for general accounting
* fire process
* prepare, code and record journal entries in gl
* perform data balancing activities
* review trial balance and reconcile / analyze all general ledger accounts
* provide audit support specific to general accounting
* prepare government reports / census
* participate in ensuring team's metrics/kpis are met or exceeded
your profile
* bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
* 2 years of experience in accounting or related positions
* meet key competencies for the job
* proficient in using microsoft office suite
* customer communication skills
* flexible to new ideas and ways of accomplishing tasks
* functional knowledge of the general accounting process
* data entry skills - analytical skills - interpersonal skills
* highly organized
* ability to meet strict deadlines
* ability to work in a team environment / collaboration with different teams
