Overview

customer care & fraud prevention representative (call center) at american express. This role focuses on preventing losses by analyzing accounts and validating or declining charges, especially for establishments or colleagues assisting customers during travel or emergencies.


responsibilities

an account protection specialist will be focused on detecting, preventing and stopping possible losses for our organization through account analysis and charge validations. Responsible for approving or declining charges requested by establishments or colleagues who are assisting our customers while traveling or in an emergency situation, through detailed analysis to prevent possible fraud.


minimum qualifications

* intermediate english and adaptability to different communication styles.
* regulation and policy knowledge, understanding and compliance.
* digital dexterity: navigate between screens, system knowledge, outlook, office, etc.
* high analytical capacity and risk evaluation.
* excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
* schedule availability (mon – sun 6:00 am to 12:00 am).
* availability to cover 8-hour shifts 5 days a week.
* detail oriented.
