Position summary the manufacturing engineer is a key contributor to operational excellence, responsible for enabling high‑performance production processes that support vertiv’s quality, safety, and cost‑competitiveness objectives. This role partners with cross‑functional leaders to ensure scalable, reliable, and lean manufacturing operations aligned with business goals. Primary responsibilities drive strategic improvements across manufacturing processes to enhance throughput, quality, and cost efficiency. Lead the creation and governance of core process documentation, including process flows, pfmea, and control plans. Support introduction of new products and engineering changes, ensuring readiness, manufacturability, and seamless execution. Champion lean initiatives that strengthen operational performance and eliminate waste. Provide technical leadership to resolve systemic issues impacting quality, performance, or customer commitments. Optimize layouts, workflows, and resources to sustain safe and productive work environments. Manage key engineering projects with clear timelines, impact assessments, and cross‑functional alignment. Contribute to vave and cost‑optimization programs supporting business profitability. Partner with quality, supply chain, and operations to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement. Qualifications bachelor’s degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, mechatronics, or related field). 3 years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical industries. Proven capability in lean manufacturing, process engineering, and cross‑functional collaboration. Experience with erp systems (oracle preferred) and engineering tools (autocad/solidworks).
