Job summary valeo north america is seeking a highly skilled and experienced site quality manager to lead and champion quality initiatives at our facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction through robust quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Job responsibilities develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems (qms) in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements. Lead and manage all aspects of quality assurance (qa) and quality control (qc) operations at the site, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all processes to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and optimize product quality. Oversee and manage the creation, review, and control of all necessary documentations related to quality processes, procedures, and records. Utilize project management principles to plan, execute, and monitor quality-related projects, ensuring timely completion and desired outcomes. Implement and manage effective process improvements strategies to optimize manufacturing and operational workflows. Conduct thorough root cause analysis (rca) for quality non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. Ensure full regulatory compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. Develop and implement proactive risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential quality risks. Provide strong team management and leadership to the quality department, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to integrate quality best practices throughout the organization. Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives to senior management. Job qualifications bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field. Proven experience in a quality management role, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Demonstrated expertise in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., lean, six sigma) and their practical application. Strong understanding and experience with quality management systems (qms), including iso/ts or iatf standards. Proficiency in documentations control and management. Extensive experience with process improvements and optimization techniques. Solid background in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring. In-depth knowledge of quality assurance (qa) and quality control (qc) principles and practices. Expertise in regulatory compliance relevant to the automotive industry. Proven ability to conduct effective risk management and mitigation strategies. Exceptional skills in root cause analysis (rca) and problem-solving. Demonstrated experience in successful team management and leadership. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
