Job summary
the associate jabil lean coach will develop lean expertise through an immersive, 18‑24 month rotational program which provides significant exposure to lean six sigma projects and jabil’s deployment approach. Through this program, the associate lean coach will gain exposure across the company. The associate lean coach position is intended to be an entry point into jabil. After the rotational period, the associate lean coach will be responsible for seeking out a new role within the organization, as business need and performance warrants.
Essential duties and responsibilities
rotational program
the associate lean coach will spend 1‑6 months working from st. Petersburg, fl with week plus assignments at various sites around the world for specific project support needs.
The associate lean coach will spend 18‑24 months rotating between various functions within the operation at different sites around the world.
Supporting activities
lead and support specific jabil lean enablement & consulting group improvement projects.
Support the lean maturity assessment process.
Support and lead various divisional projects based on pull from lean divisional directors. May require short and long term assignments at jabil facilities for hands‑on support.
Support and lead various kaizen events. The lean coach will gain a deep insight into the value stream transformation model by learning and applying lean principles, systems and tools in value stream mapping sessions and kaizen events.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and development
complete the bronze certification coursework.
Participate in jabil’s lean maturity assessment and silver certification program.
Rotate across multiple jabil functions in 18‑24 months of associate lean coach program to gain a deeper understanding of jabil operations and how to drive lean principles into various aspects of jabil’s business.

degree in industrial engineering or related discipline preferred
project management and facilitation experience
or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
