what you'll do as an office administrator
* support the company's operations, maintain and create procedures around office maintenance and supplies.
* communicate with the team on an ongoing basis and lead internal safety protocols.
* help optimize operational efficiency and contribute to a pleasant work environment.
* be an energetic professional and adept at multi-tasking.
key responsibilities
* develop office policies and procedures and ensure they are implemented properly.
* manage inventory and cleanliness of on-site amenities (including conference rooms, kitchens, workstations, etc.).
* respond to and place work orders in the system (maintenance requests, badging/access, supply requisition, etc.). Order, receive, organize, and stock supplies for the office through approved channels.
* assist with managing third-party vendors associated with building operations and preventative/corrective maintenance programs.
* help cultivate a team culture of respect, empathy, and inclusion; presume good intent while prioritizing impact.
* report regular operational updates professionally to management teams and stakeholders; partner with business leaders to provide workplace solutions when needed.
* respond professionally to building or other emergency situations on-site when needed.
* act as the central point of contact for all office-related inquiries, announcements, and reporting.
* act as a liaison between building management/partners and the company.
