the position supports the financial management of the s&d functional cost centre.
he/she will assist the operations area teams and provide support to the sr. Director performance & productivity and division managers.
position will provide financial analysis and support of the field operations functions (primarily warehouse, traffic and sales operations) including forecast, business performance, annual plan, support of productivity and business initiatives, and financial controls.
he/she will oversee sco reporting measures to build efficiencies within the system over time.
he/she will also be responsible for key area/divisional s&d/gtm projects support.
*accountabilities*:
- drive period forecasting for s&d across plant warehouse, traffic, sales warehouse & fleet
- provide support to the business in developing integrated growth and annual operating plans (aop)
- play an active role in period close and understanding area performance and highlight areas of risk/ concern
- provide analysis on profit implications of developing trends
- perform detailed cost reporting & analysis on an ongoing basis
- perform key performance measure ranking, scorecard and compliance reporting
- perform ad-hoc analysis as required
*qualifications/requirements*:
- undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- accounting designation or active pursuit of an accounting designation is preferred
- financial analysis and planning experience
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to excel in a fast pace environment and under mínimal supervision
- computer skills: essbase, excel, word, powerpoint, oracle, sap
- excellent analysis skills and ability to model
- french bilingual a definite asset
- demonstrated results as a leader in a work, school or extracurricular setting
- strong excel and financial modeling skills (power bi knowledge is an asset)
- strong analytical, problem solving and collaboration skills
- experience in supply chain an asset
- experience implementing new systems and processes
