as the health safety security environment and quality manager, you will be responsible for leading our organization in the development and implementation of policies and practices that ensure the safety and well‑being of our employees, as well as the protection of our environment. You will work closely with senior leadership to set and achieve corporate safety and environmental objectives, and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
key responsibilities
* leadership: provide leadership and direction to the company in the development and implementation of safety and environmental objectives.
* policy development: develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well‑being of our employees, as well as the protection of the environment.
* planning: develop and implement strategies to achieve corporate safety and environmental objectives.
* compliance: ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations and standards.
* training: develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety and environmental best practices.
* risk management: identify and mitigate potential safety and environmental risks within the organization.
* quality management: develop and implement quality management systems to ensure the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.
* develop and implement department’s key performance indicators (kpis), monitor and report on the approved kpis, and initiate corrective actions when kpis are not met.
* monitor hsse statistics and ensure consistently high levels of compliance.

* c1-c2 of english.
* undergraduate degree in natural sciences, engineering, health and safety, or nebosh national diploma in occupational health and safety (nfq level 6), or equivalent qualification.
* post‑graduate qualification in environmental management, occupational health & safety, business management, finance, or another job‑related field.
* minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience in a process plant environment.
* minimum of eight (8) years in a supervisory capacity, three (3) of which must be in a senior supervisory position.
* certifications:
o emergency response.
o other relevant hsse certificates.
* knowledge of occupational safety, sanitation and environment laws stps.
* mexican occupational health and safety standards (noms).
* knowledge of government regulations and industry standards and codes.
* knowledge of process plant operations, equipment, maintenance, design and project management in the petrochemical industry.
* strong analytical skills.
* ability to exercise sound judgment to make quick, accurate and safe decisions in response to emergencies and abnormal situations.
* knowledge of process safety management (psm) requirements.
* project management skills.

* licenciatura en ciencias naturales, ingeniería, salud y seguridad o certificado de nebosh en salud y seguridad ocupacional (nfq nivel 6) o titulación equivalente.
* titulación de posgrado en gestión medioambiental, salud y seguridad en el trabajo, gestión empresarial, finanzas u otro campo relacionado con el trabajo.
* experiencia mínima de quince (15) años en un entorno de planta de procesos.
* un mínimo de ocho (8) años en un puesto de supervisión, tres (3) de los cuales deben ser en un puesto de supervisión superior.
* certificados:
o respuesta de emergencia.
o otros certificados hsse pertinentes.
* leyes sobre seguridad en el trabajo, higiene y medio ambiente stps.
* normas mexicanas de salud y seguridad en el trabajo (noms).
* conocimiento de la normativa gubernamental y de las normas y códigos del sector.
* conocimiento de las operaciones de plantas de proceso, equipos, mantenimiento, diseño y gestión de proyectos en la industria petroquímica.
* gran capacidad analítica.
* capacidad de ejercer un juicio sólido para tomar decisiones rápidas, precisas y seguras en respuesta a emergencias y situaciones anómalas.
* conocimiento de los requisitos de gestión de la seguridad de los procesos (psm).
* capacidad de gestión de proyectos.
