we are looking for a manual test engineer in their mid-career. We need someone with an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a strong ability to detect problems before they reach production. main responsibilities
● execute manual testing of marketing campaigns across sms, email, and push notifications before launch.
● validate message content, formatting, personalization fields, and links to ensure accuracy.
● test message delivery across multiple devices, operating systems, email clients, and mobile platforms.
● verify targeting and segmentation rules to confirm the right messages reach the right users.
● identify, document, and report issues, escalating defects to the appropriate team.
● collaborate with marketing, engineering, and qa peers to ensure campaign readiness and quality standards.
● maintain clear testing records and provide timely updates on campaign qa status.
● support ad hoc testing needs for new marketing initiatives. Essential requirements
● bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
● 2-3 years of experience in software testing, digital marketing qa, or related role.
● strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in text, formatting, and logic.
● familiarity with email, sms, and push notification platforms (e.g., iterable, braze, salesforce marketing cloud, etc.) is a plus.
● basic understanding of qa methodologies, including test case execution, defect reporting, and regression testing.
● experience testing across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems.
● comfortable collaborating across marketing, product, and technical teams.
● strong written and verbal communication skills.
● curiosity and willingness to learn about both qa best practices and marketing technology.
● critical thinking, assertive communication, autonomy, and basic mentoring skills.
● intermediate/advanced english (b2 or higher) for communication with international teams.
nice to have
● knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as new relic, kibana or datadog.
● experience in accessibility and tools such as axe or lighthouse.
● familiarity with performance and load testing using jmeter or loadrunner.
● basic knowledge of test automation with selenium, cypress, or playwright.
● experience in ci/cd and its integration with tests.
● coaching and mentoring skills for junior testers, helping in their professional development.
