job description
the individual will be responsible for achieving sales and order financial plan performance for the buy/sell and manufacture representative segments of the two-way radio business by leveraging the indirect channel partner ecosystem.
responsibilities include recruiting new partners, modifying existing partners' territories, canceling underperforming partners, training and mentoring sales/support resources, establishing strong business relationships, developing business and marketing plans, and conducting formal business reviews.
basic requirements
the key responsibilities include:
* business development: focus on new account acquisition through cold calling, pilots, negotiations, and closures.
* strategic account management: develop and execute strategies for key accounts, collaborating with the customer success team.
* cross-functional collaboration: work with internal teams and channel partners to drive new account acquisitions.
preferred qualifications
* sales savvy: understanding of communications and technology sales to commercial accounts.
* channel expertise: knowledge of distribution channels, reseller ecosystems, and indirect sales models.
* relationship building: ability to maintain relationships with c-level executives, distributors, and partners.
* communication: effective written, oral, and presentation skills.
* analytical acumen: strong organizational and data-driven decision-making skills.
* adaptability: quick learner with the ability to understand and articulate product value.
* forecasting & pipeline management: provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain a healthy pipeline.
* customer engagement: engage with key decision-makers and conduct joint sales calls.
* market awareness: stay informed about industry trends and competitive dynamics.
* crm excellence: maintain accurate customer data in crm systems.
* revenue target execution: use promotions and marketing programs to meet revenue targets.
