About the role
we are seeking a senior devops engineer to help design, scale, and optimize modern cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical applications. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring platforms remain secure, resilient, and highly scalable, while enabling engineering teams to deploy and operate services efficiently.
You will work across cloud infrastructure, ci/cd pipelines, monitoring systems, and kubernetes environments, helping modernize deployment processes and strengthen infrastructure automation.
Responsibilities
design and implement advanced monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and fast incident response
build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in azure environments
develop and enforce role-based access control (rbac) and least-privilege security practices
automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling using infrastructure as code
lead initiatives to migrate and operate applications on kubernetes
optimize network architecture, security configurations, and access management
build and improve ci/cd pipelines to enable reliable, consistent deployments
implement logging, observability, and troubleshooting workflows using modern monitoring stacks
collaborate closely with engineering teams to support application deployment, scaling, and reliability
requirements
5+ years of experience in devops or infrastructure engineering roles
strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly microsoft azure
proven experience working with infrastructure as code tools such as terraform
experience building and maintaining ci/cd pipelines using tools such as azure pipelines, jenkins, or teamcity
strong experience with docker and kubernetes, including pod lifecycles, services, ingress, storage, and helm charts
experience implementing rbac and least-privilege security models
hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as prometheus, grafana, zabbix, or nagios
experience implementing alerting systems using tools such as prometheus alertmanager or pagerduty
experience working with the elk stack for centralized logging and analysis
familiarity with azure active directory and sso implementations
strong problem-solving mindset and ability to manage complex infrastructure environments
nice to have
experience testing infrastructure with terratest or testinfra
background working with microservices-based architectures
experience improving security posture in cloud-native environments
