As a logistics analyst ii here at honeywell, you will play a key role in managing logistics and customs operations for our maquiladora facilities.
you will analyze transportation, warehousing, and inventory data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, helping honeywell maintain a competitive edge in the aerospace industry.you will report directly to our logistics manager and you'll work out of our mexicali, mexico location on an hybrid work schedule.in this role, you will ensure adherence to mexican trade regulations, optimize cross border transportation processes, and maintain operational efficiency within honeywell aerospace operations.this role requires deep expertise in customs compliance, trade regulations, and logistics systems.trade compliance: ensure full compliance with mexican customs regulation, immex program requirements and international trade laws.cross-border logistics coordination: manage inbound & outbound shipments between mexico and global partners, optimizing routes and lead times.documentation & audit readiness: maintain accurate documentation and prepare for internal and external audits to mitigate compliance risks.execute daily temporary import and export operations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
approve and track shipments of samples, prototypes and rmas.open weekly and monthly customs entries(pedimentos)generate, review and validate cove, doda/pita, and operational reports.manage certificate of origin (usmca),reconcile customs entries in annex 24 & 30monitor key performance indicators (kpis) and prepare reports for management review.ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.you must have3+ years of experience in logistics and trade operations, preferably within maquiladora or immex environments.advanced english level.strong knowledge of mexican customs regulations, trade compliance and cross border logistics processes.proficiency in logistics management software, trade compliance tools and microsoft excel.knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management principles.we valuebachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, international trade, or related field.familiarity with immex program requirements and nafta/usmca trade agreements.experience working in aerospace or manufacturing industries is a plus.strong organizational skills and attention to detail.ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
