position overview
we are thrilled to announce the establishment of the new gbs americas center in guadalajara, mexico. This strategic move marks a significant milestone for allnex as we strengthen our presence in the americas and scale our operations efficiently across the region.
as we embark on this exciting new chapter, we remain unwavering in our commitment to fostering a unified and collaborative culture across all our locations. The gbs americas will serve as a hub of innovation and excellence, driving our mission to deliver superior solutions and services to our valued customers.
this role is responsible for driving and executing impactful marketing communication strategies across the americas, blending creativity with executional excellence. The ideal candidate will lead content creation, manage tradeshows and webinars, and support digital campaigns while collaborating closely with internal teams. With a hands-on, energetic approach, they will influence stakeholders at all levels and contribute to brand visibility and reputation. This is a dynamic opportunity for a bold, proactive communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys making ideas happen.
responsibilities
* develop and execute integrated communication strategies and tools to support the marketing organization.
* create, edit, and distribute compelling content across various channels, including press releases, newsletters, brochures, flyers, and website copy.
* plan and host webinars using microsoft teams, ensuring smooth execution and audience engagement.
* manage paid social media campaigns, including content creation, ad setup, performance tracking, and strategy optimization.
* lead the planning and execution of large-scale tradeshows (approx. 2 per year), including logistics, collateral preparation, and vendor coordination.
* support internal departments with marketing collateral, banners, and event materials for initiatives such as career fairs.
* coordinate award submissions for the company and individuals, and manage reputation and crisis communications as needed.
* oversee editorial calendar and product launch communications, including campaign creation, implementation, and performance analysis.
required skills and experience
* 5+ years of proven experience in marketing communications, including content creation, event management, and digital campaign execution.
* strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
* fluent in english: proficiency in additional languages also an advantage.
* demonstrated experience with webinar hosting (preferably via microsoft teams) and managing large-scale tradeshows.
* hands-on experience with paid social media advertising, seo knowledge, including campaign setup, performance analysis, and optimization is a plus.
* high level of initiative and energy, with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset.
* team player with a collaborative spirit and the courage to speak up and challenge ideas constructively.
* strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* able to work/willing with multinational colleagues globally, across several time zones is a plus.
* experience in video creating/design, i.e., vyond program.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
* strong project management skills.
* proficiency in digital marketing tool and platforms, analytical skills a plus.
