Quick Facts
Employment Type: Contract, Hourly
Commitment: 10-15 hours/week (with growth potential)
Location: Remote
Focus: Content Production, Clinical Review Coordination, QA
About the Role: The Engine of Our Content Program
We're looking for a supremely detail-oriented Content Operations Coordinator to be the essential backbone of our content production process. This is the perfect role for someone who thrives on organization, loves the mechanics of digital content, and wants to work right at the intersection of editorial quality and operational efficiency—especially in the high-stakes world of mental health content.
You will own the day-to-day execution of our content program, ensuring that every piece of information we publish is accurate, compliant, and flawlessly presented. You'll work closely with our Head of Content, licensed clinicians, writers, and specialists to manage the pipeline from draft to publish. If you find satisfaction in making complex processes run smoothly, have a nose for detail, and understand that accuracy and clarity are essential in health content, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact.
Core Responsibilities
1. Clinical Review Program Management (Ownership)
You will be the primary coordinator for content compliance and quality.
Own and coordinate all clinical reviews with our network of licensed clinicians.
Track review status, manage timelines, and follow up relentlessly to keep projects on schedule.
Build and maintain relationships with internal clinicians, ensuring a smooth and efficient review process.
Develop and document processes to strengthen and scale our clinical review program over time.
2. Content Production & Publishing (Execution)
You ensure content looks perfect and follows all guidelines before it goes live.
Publish and format new content in WordPress (2-3x per week).
Conduct meticulous Quality Assurance (QA) checks before content goes live (catching typos, broken links, formatting issues).
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines for style, tone, and formatting consistency.
3. Editorial & Operations Support (Optimization)
You keep the team organized and tackle crucial operational projects.
Edit clinician-authored content (simple Q&As;) for clarity, style, and brand consistency.
Maintain comprehensive content documentation and track project status across all initiatives.
Execute ad hoc projects (e.g., template-based page creation, content audits, bulk updates) and flag potential issues before they impact timelines.
Who You Are: The Idóneo Candidate
You're someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and takes immense pride in your work. You're comfortable working independently but know when to ask for help.
Required Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in content, editorial, or digital media roles (health/wellness industry strongly preferred).
Proven, hands-on experience with WordPress or similar Content Management Systems (CMS).
Exceptional attention to detail: You catch the typos, broken links, and formatting inconsistencies others miss.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong written communication skills and comfort editing the work of others.
A genuine interest in mental health and creating content that genuinely helps people.
Proficiency in English
Available during U.S. working hours a minimum of 2 days/week.
Nice to Haves
Experience coordinating with subject matter experts, particularly clinicians.
Knowledge of SEO/GEO best practices or familiarity with AP Style/similar editorial guides.
Background in health communications, mental health advocacy, or a related field.
Skills in research/fact-checking, content strategy, social media management, or graphic design.
Growth Opportunities
This contract role offers significant room for expansion based on your performance, skills, and interests. As the content team scales, you could take on greater responsibility in areas like:
Content strategy, planning, and performance tracking.
Original writing (articles, web copy, social media).
Social media content creation and management.
Design work for content assets or multimedia projects.
