Job description:
we are seeking a seasoned delivery senior manager to lead our qa teams and drive end-to-end delivery leadership.
responsibilities:
1. lead and manage qa teams with proven people management expertise.
2. provide comprehensive delivery leadership, encompassing nearshore operations and beyond.
3. drive qa excellence through best practices in test planning, execution, metrics, and reporting.
4. effectively handle situational challenges raised by team members with confidence and domain expertise.
5. manage multicultural teams, with a specific focus on mexico-based teams.
6. collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure delivery quality and alignment.
7. demonstrate a service-delivery orientation while balancing quality, timelines, and client expectations.
8. guide teams in continuous improvement through upskilling, process optimization, and adoption of industry standards.
9. act as a key point of escalation for qa-related issues and delivery challenges.
requirements:
* minimum 8+ years of people management experience.
* at least 5+ years of qa management experience (leading qa teams, metrics, reporting, delivery support).
* bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (mandatory).
* proven experience in handling mexico-based teams and driving cross-cultural alignment.
* strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills.
* must not be currently working with csaa or aaa insurance (to avoid potential conflict of interest).
* strong background in qa methodologies, tools, and processes.
* experience in automation testing is a strong plus.
* knowledge of ai/ml applications in qa and delivery is an added advantage.
