the human resource manager develops and coordinates policies on various hr matters including compensation, benefits, performance, talent, training, and compliance. Ensures legal compliance and aligns with the organization’s mission and talent strategy.
the candidate will report hierarchically to the ceo and functionally to the global hr manager of the business area.
responsibilities
* develop corporate plans for hr matters such as compensation, benefits, union compliance, talent, and mental health, aligned with business area guidelines.
* support the human factor by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, and development.
* monitor the company climate and proactively implement initiatives to engage employees.
* manage compensation: review and authorize payments of ptu, bonuses, vacation premiums, and monthly bonuses.
* handle hr administration, including social security and tax calculations.
* manage hr budget by assessing company needs and monitoring investments.
* prepare data for external audits related to hr responsibilities.
* serve as the contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions.
* ensure adherence to internal policies and legal standards, maintaining high compliance levels in coordination with global guidelines.
* develop and monitor the annual training plan.
* address grievances and disciplinary issues when necessary.
* analyze hr data and metrics to report to senior management and support management review.
* implement initiatives to increase employee engagement.
* lead recruitment activities at all levels.
* coordinate activities and projects at the business area or global level, such as sustainability reports, budget, ethics code sharing, cybersecurity training, and hrgo project.
* participate actively in global hr projects like sap platform implementation.
* ensure employee data is up-to-date across all hr systems.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a relevant field.
* proficiency in english is required.
* minimum of 3 years proven experience as an hr manager.
* excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
* thorough understanding of hr management principles and best practices.
* experience with data analysis and reporting.
* knowledge of hr systems (e.g., sap, oracle, workday).
* strong organizational and leadership skills.
