we are seeking a highly proactive and detail-oriented personal assistant in tulum, mexico to support miquel gironès, an international entrepreneur and ceo who travels extensively throughout the year. This role is dynamic, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who thrives in a high-performance environment where every day is different.
the ideal candidate is not just an executor but a leader — someone who anticipates needs before they arise, takes ownership, and ensures every detail of miquel's personal and professional life runs seamlessly.
key responsibilities:
* travel & accommodation management
* plan and book flights, hotels, airbnbs, and transportation based on miquel's personal preferences and comfort standards.
* maintain and update his annual travel itinerary across multiple continents.
* ensure smooth travel transitions — from airport pickups to in-person meetings and event coordination.
* manage travel logistics for both business and leisure trips, including last-minute changes and special arrangements.
lifestyle & wellness coordination
* schedule and manage boxing and fitness sessions, personal training, and adventure activities (e.g., skydiving, track workouts).
* research and book unique experiences aligned with miquel's interests and locations.
* ensure dietary, health, and lifestyle preferences are considered in all plans.
client & event management
* coordinate in-person meetups, dinners, and lunches with miquel's top clients and partners globally.
* handle restaurant bookings, private venue arrangements, and post-event follow-ups.
* maintain a high-touch standard of hospitality, ensuring every meeting reflects the brand's premium image.
operations & procurement
* manage online purchases and deliveries — from personal items to professional essentials.
* track and verify all orders and logistics until delivery is completed.
* maintain organized records of expenses, bookings, and reimbursements.
administrative & executive support
* maintain and update miquel's calendar, reminders, and communications.
* prepare and share daily/weekly itineraries and summaries of upcoming commitments.
* collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on schedules, events, and travel plans.
requirements:
* proven experience as a personal assistant / executive assistant in a fast-paced, international environment.
* strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently — proactive, not reactive.
* excellent communication skills (spoken and written).
* flexible and adaptable to changing schedules, time zones, and priorities.
* familiarity with travel tools, booking platforms, and online purchasing systems.
