*what does a great senior engineering do?

inspire: as a senior developer, you will be at the helm, driving our team to deliver groundbreaking projects.
your leadership skills will be your compass, and you will inspire your colleagues to achieve greatness.
estimate and execute: your expertise will shine as you identify technical tasks and provide project estimates.
you will be the mastermind behind project planning, ensuring smooth sailing from start to finish.
agile champion: facilitating scrum meetings, grooming, daily standups, and retro meetings will be second nature to you.
your agile contribution will keep our projects on track and our team in sync.
coordination: we require experience as a team leader, managing offshore personnel, and collaborating with product managers in the usa.
*responsibilities include*:
- coding and quality
- responsible for driving and supporting to deliver projects
- responsible for identifying technical tasks and providing estimates for projects
*who we are looking for in this role*:
- 5+ years of software development experience with a successful record of developing and deploying quality software products.
- experience of microservices (restful, json).
- knowledge of sql and relational databases (examples: oracle, mysql)
- experience working with one or more cloud services (openshift).
- experience with standard ci / cd strategies & technologies (github actions)
- understanding github, managing branches, pull requests and common workflows.
- travel domain experience would be added advantageous.
- agile methodologies (scrum / kanban / safe) and associated tools such as confluence and jira for story management
- experience with unit testing
*preferred experience with*:
- openshift, amazon web services (aws)
- github - github actions
- test-driven development (tdd)
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- good communication and interpersonal skills with emphasis on the ability to collaborate while working remotely.
