purpose: large hotel corporation seeks a specialist to lead and train our sales & events operations colleagues. You will collaborate closely with the broader hotel operational services teams and internal stakeholders within global operations, playing a key role in maintaining and enhancing our leading hospitality standards.
position responsibilities: responsibilities include introducing, executing training, and deploying envision to our hotels’ sales & events teams to help them meet customer expectations. This role will own tasks and training processes needed to support system adoption, creating efficient business practices, strengthening customer relationships, and driving topline performance. You will liaise directly with the on-property director of sales & marketing, director of sales, operational leaders, and general managers to translate business objectives into practical actions across sales and events teams, ensuring systems and processes drive efficiencies and results. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously and reporting to the sales and events systems manager.
* facilitator: execute engaging virtual and onsite onboarding and training sessions to guide on-property teams through system adoption and effective use.
* lead the introduction, training, and deployment of proprietary sales and events systems, tailoring configurations to market segment needs and team dynamics for optimal customer relationship management and revenue growth.
* develop training materials such as slide decks, trainer notes, and videos for use by the s&e team, hotels, or vendors.
* maintain relationships with global internal teams and vendors through regular remote meetings to discuss project needs and implementations.
experience and qualifications:
* 3+ years of hotel experience in group sales and events management.
* understanding of hotel application usage and its business impact.
* willingness to travel 50%-75% to support hotel operations.
* fluency in english and spanish (speaking, reading, writing).
preferred experience:
* experience with sales platforms such as envision, delphi, etc.
* hotel sales & events experience in latin america.
* other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
