job responsibilities
* perform and monitor risk analysis during all phases of the pdp.
* conduct and track project feasibility analysis in phases 0, 1, 2, & 3.
* conduct and monitor plant capacity analyses.
* develop dimensional measurement plans according to customer requirements and gd&t.
* perform and follow up on supplier capacity analyses until ppap approval.
* monitor suppliers' production capacity plans.
* implement control plans throughout all project development stages.
* plan and validate pre-production builds.
* review appearance and craftsmanship with customers.
* participate in gate reviews and record relevant information in the trax system.
* participate in monthly project development reviews and present status reports to management.
* develop and validate gauges, checking fixtures, measurement instruments, and methods for component assembly.
* engage in va/ve activities and mcrp.
* manage apqp & ppap processes for suppliers.
* validate edi processes with customers and suppliers.
* develop and document pre-launch readiness audits.
* develop appearance approval processes for molded components.
* create boundary samples for customers and suppliers.
* develop and document production process validation.
* implement safe launch plans and related documentation for customers.
* confirm imds processes with customers and suppliers.
* ensure compliance with government and regulatory requirements.
* release processes and develop run-at-rate with customers.
* document ppap submissions with customers.
* develop and approve measurement and validation plans with customers.
* conduct simulated production runs (burst builds).
* participate in all project-related meetings and site visits.
