We are seeking a Design Release Engineer to join our Interior Engineering team, specializing in seat structures. This role is idóneo for professionals with 2 to 3 years of experience in automotive interior systems, particularly in metallic seat components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end design, development, validation, and release of seat systems
- Ensure components meet vehicle functional objectives and packaging requirements
- Manage DVPR testing, change control, BOM updates, and prototype/production build support
- Lead cost and weight reduction initiatives and drive efficiency improvements
- Support assembly plants and service teams with technical issue resolution and root cause analysis
- Maintain CAD models in Teamcenter and communicate product status to management
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 2–3 years of experience in seat structure or mechanism design and release
- Residency in Saltillo, Coahuila
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in:
Interior system integration
OEM or supplier-side design and release processes
NX, Catia V5, and Teamcenter
DFMEA and DVP&R; creation and execution
Component builds and manufacturing feasibility (including mold flow analysis)
Ability to lead technical teams and present to upper management
