We have partnered with a stealth-mode clean energy startup is hiring a test engineer to support the buildout, commissioning, and testing of a first-of-a-kind (foak) hydrogen production system using a proprietary process. The company are an innovative early-stage cleantech company who have developed a first-of-a-kind (foak) hydrogen production technology. The company is pioneering a novel process to produce low-cost, low-emissions hydrogen and solid carbon. They're currently looking for a test engineer who will help in the testing of the companies pilot and commercial plants initially at their host site in monterrey, mexico. In this role you will report directly to the director and have responsibility to test and optimize the pilot and foak systems to achieve key performance goals (kpis).qualificationsbachelor’s in mechanical, chemical, aeronautical, or similar field5+ years of hands-on experience in thermal/chemical/industrial process environments experience in validation/testing/commissioning of electrical and mechanical equipment in an industrial setting, specifically combustion, automotive, gas turbine, high pressure gas systems. Ability to read/generate p&ids and cad drawingsbonus: plc, dcs, or ni labview controls experience; high/low voltage background
