Role overviewthe maintenance lead will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and efficiency of all production equipment, facilities, and infrastructure at the monterrey plant.
this role will provide full ownership of maintenance operations across molding, automation, and radio frequency processes, while also leading facility and infrastructure technical maintenance.
it represents a key leadership position to strengthen the plant structure by relieving engineering of non-core responsibilities, transferring facility-related technical ownership from hr/facilities to maintenance, and embedding tpm methodology as a cultural standard.qualificationsbachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, industrial, or related field).8+ years of maintenance experience in automotive, tier 1, or other regulated manufacturing environments.proven track record with tpm methodology and preventive/predictive maintenance.technical expertise in plastic injection molding, automation, and rf processes.experience managing facilities and infrastructure systems.strong leadership skills with ability to build team accountability.knowledge of iatf 16949, iso 9001, and ehs standards.english: intermediate to advanced level for effective communication in a multinational environment.responsibilitieslead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to ensure technical strength, accountability, and reliability focus.drive implementation of tpm methodology across molding, automation, and rf processes.oversee daily and long-term maintenance of equipment to ensure availability and rapid response to downtime.partner with engineering to support new equipment introductions, tooling, and process improvements.maintain updated documentation for equipment manuals, maintenance plans, and spare parts inventory.take full ownership of facility and infrastructure maintenance (utilities, hvac, electrical systems, compressed air, water, and building).
