We are seeking a full-time chief financial officer to oversee financial operations across two entities in the merchant cash advance space.
key responsibilities:
* owning all accounting and bookkeeping across both entities is crucial for our company's financial stability.
* we require someone to record and reconcile journal entries across multiple bank accounts and credit cards.
* filing ucc liens for funded deals and tracking lien releases is a must.
* the successful candidate will manage and run payroll, commissions, wires, and payouts.
* maintaining and optimizing crm financial systems (orgmeter + cloudsquare on salesforce) is essential.
* monitoring cash daily, moving funds strategically, and maximizing returns through safe, short-term vehicles is required.
* reviewing and managing weekly financial activity and vendor payables is a key responsibility.
* the selected individual will prepare weekly and monthly reporting: cash flow, profit and loss statement, balance sheet, upcoming liabilities.
* tracking funding deals, expected revenue, cost of capital, and broker commissions is necessary.
* the ideal candidate will oversee offshore accounting team and ensure accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
requirements:
* a minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance leadership roles.
* the successful candidate must have experience in mca finance/accounting.
* expert-level bookkeeping and quickbooks proficiency is required.
* a deep understanding of us generally accepted accounting principles and tax accounting for small businesses is necessary.
* the candidate must have proven experience filing ucc liens, running payroll, and sending wires/commissions.
* comfortable managing multiple bank accounts and high-volume transactions is a requirement.
