* operate and improve large-scale kubernetes infrastructure in production
* build and maintain gitops-driven infrastructure workflows (argocd/flux)
* develop automation and tooling that enable self-service infrastructure
* improve system reliability, scalability, and observability
* reduce operational toil through thoughtful engineering solutions
* partner with product engineers to support safe, reliable deployments
* contribute to infrastructure cost visibility and efficiency initiatives
requirements
* 3–6+ years of experience on an sre, infrastructure, or platform engineering team
* strong production experience with kubernetes
* hands‐on experience with terraform and aws
* experience implementing gitops workflows (argocd or flux)
* experience with distributed systems, container orchestration, and observability
* strong linux fundamentals
* proficiency in shell scripting and at least one higher-level language (go, python, etc.)
* ability to scale systems through automation and reliability improvements
* comfortable working in a fully remote, globally distributed team
desired qualifications
* experience designing and supporting real-time, high‐availability systems
* experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing
* ci/cd pipeline experience (github actions)
* experience in blockchain or web3 environments
* passion for security and secure system design
* experience with crossplane or more broadly developing custom operators in kubernetes to meet business needs
* experience building internal developer platforms or self‐service tooling
